Saw Avatar a few days ago. I rarely see movies in the theater anymore, but this one is definitely worth the price.

When I saw Avatar being hyped, I expected it to suck. But I've heard a lot of positive reviews about it and I'm now interested in seeing it.
A friend recently loaned me a burned copy of 2012. As much as think that the world ending in 2012 is a load of crap, the movie was pretty decent. It was nothing spectacular, but it was interesting nonetheless. The whole idea of building arks to survive was kind of funny. But the action scenes with the citys and landmarks crashing down into the ground was pretty cool.
The last movie I saw in theators was The Hangover. I loved it so much I saw it twice. I watched it again at the drive in with Transformers 2 which was also pretty good. I liked the first one better though. Sitting at the in my car for 5 hours isn't one of my favorite past-times. I had my cousins with me, so we would take turns getting up and and walking around to stretch out a bit. That would have been a good time to have had a date if you know what I mean.

Saw the Book of Eli on Friday and LOVED it. My friends thought it was preachy but I went in knowing zilch about it and was blown away by almost everything about it. The basic story is that after a major war (I think like 30 years after) everything is rubble and civilization as we knew it is dead and gone. Most died and the few who have survived are either renegade's/desperado's or people living in fear. Eli (Denzel Washington) is in sole possession of the last bible on Earth since all others were burned and destroyed as it was believed it was the whole cause of the war. He's heading West merely on a voice in his head that tells him to take it and he'll know where it belongs when he gets there. On his journey he passes through a makeshift town run by a mayor (dunno recall the name but was played by Gary Oldman with a brilliant performance) who wants the book to expand and rule the new civilizations he plans to build.
They did a good job keeping most of the colours to gry and dirty baiges to really give it that "death" type look and feel combined with immense desert style landscape.
I recommend it for those who like a modern time, western/action.

That sounds awesome. I've seen the trailers and thought it looked good. I'll definitely see it, if not in theaters, then on DVD.

Last new movie I saw was Up. It's really cute, but pretty sad. It opens with the old man as a kid, and he meets his future wife and grows up with her… And then she grows old and dies. All within the first ten minutes. So while the movie is cute and funny, it's also somewhat depressing. The talking dog is extremely awesome, in any case.
SQUIRREL! >.> <.< >.>
EDIT – It's been a few months since I saw it in theaters, but the movie Hangover is just freaking awesome. If you haven't seen it yet, do it. I'm not kidding. It's the best comedy I've seen in a while. It's just that good.

I haven't seen the Hangover yet but I did see an interview with the cast. They were surprised how funny of a movie it was becoming during filming. At one point they were like, "Wow, this is actually going to be hilarious."

I really wanted to go and see Sherlock Holmes, but it sounds like Thursday is the last time it'll be running at the local multi-plex. Well, even though in pain, I could try to get there if it's as good as it looks.
Anyone wanna let me know if it'd be worth the back pain I have right now to go see it? (I don't get my refill of Vicodin until the 29th.)

Last movie I saw in the theatre: Twister, 1996. Yeahhh, it's been a while since I ventured to the cinema. My mother and aunt went to see 2012. They thought it was good for "sheer disaster", it was okay. One of those "just when you think it's over…" type movies. Meh, I prefer disaster movies that have more inspiration than the Mayan calandar. At least "The Day After Tomorrow" made sense. Even better was a little TV movie on ABC in 1983, simply called "The Day After". Better yet was the BBC-produced "Threads" from 1984. I'm rambling now. Sorry.

Well lets see..newest movie I have seen would be Avatar.
Kicks major ass although the hype was way to big. Fighting scene was epic. Mainly because us trolls love seeing us some big booms and pretty colors. The idea was alright..only wish I saw it Imax it sounds so much better there but what are you going to do right.

I remembered! The last movie I saw was 2012. I really don't believe that will happen to us, but the movie was fantastic. The effects were superb and the emotion of the movie was very dramatic. It's a must watch as of now:D

You know I do believe 2012 could happen.. (sorry im going a little of topic dont like it ban me.)
If 2012 does happen I have my get out of jail free card! (I'll be 21.. and i'll have a 2012 beer fund.) Simply drink myself to death while meteors and earth quakes or whatever happen.
I've seen the movie its a good one I'd recomend it to anyone who wants to survive 2012. Or…you could come to my boozefest either way watch the movie.

If I want to survive 2012, the absolute last person I'm spending time with is John Cusack.
