Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Naoko, would you like a job as a personal body guard? Meh…I probably don't even make enough money to pay you what you'd deserve. Still, I think I'd like to have you as back-up.
"In our top story tonight, a Minnesota man evaded what could've been a serious attack when his personal bodyguard — known only as 'Naoko' brutally beat the would-be attackers to death. No one has seen her since, and it's believed Bonemeal may be harbouring her somewhere in an unknown territory. Meanwhile, Joseppi has fled the country in fear over his own life after having gotten on the wrong side of Naoko. It's believed he may be in the Congo, but our sources have not turned up any conclusive proof at newstime. I'm David Dinsdale, reporting."
Yeah, I got an awful lot of time on my hands, and I'm sure I just wasted everyone else's.

Don't let her scare you, Bone. Her bark is worse than her bite….Unless your name is Spyte, but that's another story for another site.
Now that's poetic.

Not scared of her; just thought she'd make a good bodyguard.
Since this is "The Whatever Thread", just for fun, here's a list of all the meds I'm on:
Fluvoxamine (Luvox)
Adderall XR
Lorazepam (Ativan)
Hydrocodone/acetaminophen (Lortab or Vicodin)
Prochlorperazine Maeleate <– Possibly misspelled "maelate".
Promethazine
Nortriptyline
Seroquel
BTW, is there a way you guys can change the format for the boards so everything isn't automatically spaced when we hit "Enter"? It's a bit of a pain in the ass when typing out any sort of lists of any kind.

Yeah, that's kind of bothered me too. I'm not sure what all we can do with it. The boards are mainly Jon's department and I don't like to attempt to much without him.I already messed things up once, now I'm really weary about it. But we'll look into it. There's a few other little things that annoy me as well. Nothing major, but they could be fixed.

So I've been putting in lots of time at the television gig hence the lack of being here. I get the wonderful job of doing a college girls volleyball tourny tomorrow for 12 hours then taking Saturday off before doing a hockey game Sunday from 8am-6pmish.
Now I'm thinking of applying fo a potential Television job (as currently I'm only volunteering) with a new company supposedly starting up.

I woke up to a phone call from the eye doctor today saying that my new glasses are in. I look out the window and we had even more snow last night. I've already got my car stuck twice. I'm going to be doing a lot of shovling…AGAIN! FML

Haha, I love how you get so much snow and I'm getting like none here.
In other news, Stompin Tom Connors is 74 today and I'm currently putting a television proposal together to hopefully get a tv deal with where I volunteer.

I had a bad reaction to one of my meds. I'm back on Citalopram. Luvox put me in a very bad place I haven't been in for years.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while.

BTW, I've sent messages out now to both Pster and THB. I don't know if THB will join us, but figured I'd give it a try. I imagine Death did his part already. Anyway, I sent Pster a PM at GameSpy since…I just can't find his email anymore!

I've been to hell and back this last week. I was put on a new med I'd never even heard of, let alone taken. The drug is called Lamotrigine. It's an anticonvulsant, and it's suppose to take away anxiety and ward off some symptoms of depression. Well, that would've been well and good, had it not been for the fact I had an allergic reaction to it. Last night (Thursday), I was very close to going to the emergency room, but I just didn't want to when I thought that my reaction wasn't "life-threatening" at least, in my opinion.
The good news is I am back on Xanax. I thought Ativan was supposed to be like second from the top when it came to the strength of Benzodiazapines (Klonopin, Ativan, Xanax, and Valium.) Turns out, it's not so much about sheer strength, but the drugs are a little different from eachother. Ativan has a longer onset effect whereas Xanax won't last as long, but will hit harder.
I'm okay tonight, save for the fact I have a very nasty cut inside my lower lip. It itched so damn bad, that like a dumbshit, I scratched it with my (very sharp) teeth. I got something that's made by the company that makes Blistex. It's supposed to numb the area, and create a "patch" if you will, on the sore. Applying it is absolute hell.
Though, the sore could be something else. If this were GSF, I wouldn't have the bollocks to ask such a question, but you all are decent folk, so I can ask and not feel shameful. (Plus, I know everyone here is an adult, so it's not as if I'm posting something explicit that kids shouldn't see. Anyway, how long can Herpes lay dormant in your system before you'd ever have an outbreak? I haven't had a partner in nearly 10 years, but could it be something that just never surfaced? I see my doctor on Friday. Should I ask him to test me? My biggest fear is him testing me for all STD's and it turns out I'm HIV-positive. Well, that's OCD; always wanting to think of the worst.
And on a final note (and no pun intended; I'm merely using the Brit slang I've adopted), I recently went back to smoking fags. I bought a pack last week, and it's still almost full, but I'd run into an old friend, he lit up, offered me one, and I smoked it.

Oh, and there's one other thing I suppose I should make mention of. In light of my disorders going so haywire, and the bad reactions to my medications, I was told by a specialist that, although it may not be the most fun thing to do, I may have to consider going to a place like this for a while:

Don't worry, though. If indeed I need to be committed, I will inform you all ahead of time. (BTW, if anyone is unfamiliar with that photo, it's the old abandoned Greystone Psychiatric State Hospital in New Jersey. It was where the final scene of season 5 of House M.D. was shot, and the site of the Season 6 premier. What glorious architecture.
'Tis a bit strange. So many times I would jokingly say, "I belong in an asylum", only to find I actually may end up in one…for real…

Well I wish you the best man. Sounds like you have a lot of stuff going on. I really don't know anything about Herpes. I'd ask a doctor to be sure. I suppose it could lay dormat for years, but I really don't know. I have a friend who takes some anxiety/depression medications but I don't know much about them either.
If you've been able to stay away from cigarettes all this time, I strongly urge you to stay away from them. Why pick the habit back up? It's one of the most deadly habits to have. Of course, you can do what you want, but man I see no good that comes out of smoking the fags.

Thanks for the well-wishes. Yeah, I don't want to get back into the whole "cancer stick" issue. Besides that, Nicotine is a stimulant. With anxiety, I don't need any stimulants right now.
Sometimes, I think the whole med deal is so twisted. I'm on Adderall XR — the Cadillac of uppers (20mg 2x Daily), for one issue and then, I'm on Xanax to calm me down. Fortunately, I have to say I found an ally. I don't want to offend anyone, but I don't want to reveal his identity. He may have spoken directly and publicly but I'm not sure. Anyway, he's someone at Gamespy, and we're PM'ing eachother there because he's been through the same things I have.
I only wish I could get the details of how an evaluation is conducted. How long do I have to be there? Will I be treated the same as someone who perhaps just climbed a bell tower on a university campus to blow their colleagues away? Will they talk down to me like I'm a small child? Can family visit me there, as it wouldn't be court-mandated institutionalization?
On a side note, good job giving us a spell-checker. Wouldn't you know, I spelled colleagues incorrectly (I spelled it "collegues"), yet I spelled institutionalization correctly.

The sore is in your mouth right?
Unless it’s “somewhere else” I wouldn’t be too concerned.
Herpes is nasty stuff it can lay dormant in your nerve cells until triggered; you can very well have no symptoms for years or ever after contracting it.
Most likely you don’t have HIV, and if you do you’re going to want to treat it not just stay in the dark about it.
You’ve gotta stop smoking.
Have you seen old people who have smoked during their lives?
They sound worse than someone with pneumonia coughing out big pieces of stuff and drowning on their own fluids.
What would happen if you stopped taking your medications?

Naoko said:Oh my god, I want to go to the Dr. House crazy asylum too!
I saw it in the season finale last year, and all I could think of was what a beautiful, stoic, and yet…almost menacing structure that is. I have four pics I downloaded of Greystone, (known as Mayfield Asylum to non-regular House fans). And I think this may be a pic from the show. That car looks an awful lot like Wilson's.
I don't know what the new Greystone Hospital looks like. I couldn't find any pics of it except a very close-up pic where all you see is a little part of the main enterance and this woman hugging a doctor, thankful she was in a new hospital. (What the hell is wrong with my memory??? I can't remember how to spell the "e" word above! I thought about entrance, but it's not as though I am using the word that means to go catatonic. It's just like I've almost forgotten how to spell!)
Anyway, onward. Alons-y! In another topic, I spoke of going legit. Well, I fell upon an ethical dilemma. (Hey, I just used spell-checker, and I spelled dilemma correctly!) I don't know if I mentioned it, but my old PS2 (Model # 70001) died. So, I had to get a new one. I was fearful as to what this new PS2 (Model # 90001) could do vs. my old one. A friend of mine had later on bought a 75001, then a 77001, and they wouldn't run some of my games, or my CodeBreaker. Hooray!!! The 90001 does all!!!
But the dilemma I referred to is about a realization I had a couple nights ago. I realized my 70001 was…well…stolen. I ordered it through BMG in October 2005, but I never paid for it…not one payment. Truth is, it isn't paid for, and now, BMG no longer exists, so I am racking my brain trying to figure out how to find balance. Whether any of you believe in God, karma, or any higher power, I just want to find balance so I can clear my conscience.
